Zoé Van den Boogaerde




About

 Zoé van den Boogaerde (1997, BE) is a Brussels-based exhibition designer and curator who brings a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to her work. With a background in painting from La Cambre, she has expanded her practice to encompass exhibition design, project management, and the curating of diverse, cross-disciplinary initiatives. Her creative vision thrives at the intersection of site-specific art commissions, collaborative partnerships, and human-centered projects, drawing influences from art, nightlife, music, architecture, performance, and fashion.

In 2023 and 2024, Zoé directed the art program for Doel Festival, a groundbreaking event blending art and electronic music in the unique setting of the village of Doel, near Antwerp. In 2024, she also took on the artistic direction of a dedicated 300m² stage at Waking Life Festival, in collaboration with Frizbee Ceramics. Since 2021, Zoé has been a key figure in the curatorial direction of Espace Triphasé, a dynamic cultural space in Brussels, where she also maintains her studio. Her previous projects include curating exhibitions at Ateliers Zaventem, working with artists such as Fabien Cappello and Stéphane Barbier Bouvet, as well as organizing the “Baranzate” event during Milan Design Week 2022, which showcased works by over 20 international artists, designers, and galleries.

Zoé believes in the transformative power of art to foster connections and provoke new perspectives. She places a strong emphasis on collaboration and synergy, with a focus on creating meaningful and inspiring experiences that resonate with both the artists and the audience.
