"Twisted Signs of Life" is an in-situ installation created in Geneva that explores themes of overconsumption and the transformation of unused materials. Made from discarded materials, the installation includes opaline light pieces and itinerant components that evolve on-site, sourced directly from the exhibition space. These materials, often remnants or buried by the very structure hosting the project, reflect a sustainable and site-specific approach.
The work creates a dialogue between the fragments, the space, and the artist’s nomadic process, adapting to each new environment. The installation’s form is reshaped at each venue, responding to the tensions of the space and highlighting the impermanence of both the materials and the artwork itself. This evolving process emphasizes the role of the artist in understanding and reimagining spaces.
